Handwoven in Northern Ghana using natural elephant grass (Veta Vera), the Grande Kusana is designed for presence. Its sculptural half-moon silhouette is elevated by Sokona’s signature hand-cast brass mask charm—a quiet tribute to the artistry, heritage, and enduring craftsmanship of West Africa.

Finished with wrapped elephant grass handles, the Grande Kusana is both functional and collectible. Spacious yet remarkably lightweight, it is designed to accompany everything from everyday moments to journeys further afield.

Each piece is woven entirely by hand by artisan communities in Northern Ghana using techniques passed down through generations. Made in small quantities, every bag carries its own subtle variations in weave and form, making each one truly unique.
